Err0 recovery

Delta1.0
This was the first version of delta, you don't have to read version
from the receiver first before it will upload to the receiver.
1. With the receiver turned off, open delta1.0 and select a good .bin file.
2. Hit the upgrade button, then turn the receiver power on.
3. Delta should start uploading the file to the receiver.
4. After "good" shows on the receiver display, turn the receiver off and back on.

Delta 1.3 does it also well!

Some versions, when you hit the upgrade button it says you must read version first from the receiver. Impossible if the receiver is dead.
I thought it was all versions after 1.0

I have made my Digital 800 alive after Err 0 like that:

1. Switched off receiver.
2. Run Delta 1.3, selected com port and hit upgrade.
3. Switched receiver on and here you go.

Receiver must be switched off before you hit upgrade. And after hitting upgrade you must switch it on fast enough to begin recovery.

Done it 2 times before. All with Delta 1.3.

I have delta 3. do you think it can help?
I also have NO .bin file for my reciever.
the delta doesn't get it. but PCLINK understands it.
I have 2003 FTA 1 mg.
do youthink pclink does this too?

PclinkV5.5 may do it, you have to enter the topsat password newtv
or it will ask you to read version first. I have no 1meg receiver
to try it on, but the technique works on 2meg receivers.
