Hi,

I live in the South of France, near Nice.

I've got a Cherokee Maestro 9100 NG4 receiver that was working fine.
One day I connected it to the normal aerial cable.
I could see the menu on the TV but, obviously no programs at all.
After about 15 minutes it started smelling a bit like burning, so I disconnected it.

Since then, it hasn't worked at all. I don't even get the red light when I plug it.
I've checked inside. The fuse is ok and the electricity is coming in.
I suspect that something went wrong when I connected it to the aerial, but what?

As far as I know, a normal aerial cable hasn't got any electricity.
Does anyone know what could have happened?
Any advice on what I can do (apart from put it in the bin)?

Many thanks,
Lufernan
