Hello,

I've just bought a CT 5000 HD receiver, and it seems that the video quality is lower that the TNT, I receive the ASTRA and Hotbird around 80 % quality, anybody havs a trick to get a better image quality ?

By the way I try to watch a HD channel, but I can't find any that the receiver can unscramble with the latest 1.33P firmware, what channel can I watch to test the HD quality to see if my receiver works and the image quality is better ?

I'm connected to the TV via HDMI, on a 50" Samsung Plasma.

Can the HDMI reduce the quality, because I use uploaded keys instead of real cards ?

Thanks to all suggestion...

hi,

80% by sat is ok
95% by air (TNT) on 5000C and the quality is lower by sat.

For HD channels:
On Astra 19.2°E(11914/H), PW: Try premiere HD, Discovery HD, Astra HD
(Fw133p+last sofcam Keys).

if your HDMI cable is good quality no found reduce for me.

Don't take the signal quality numbers too serious - it's all relative and if you take three different receivers, hook them up to the same signal and compare you will get three very different numbers.

Basically with the 5000C you want to have 60+ and stable and you should be fine.

On Astra Premiere HD should come down fine for you, as was mentioned earlier.

Cheers

I can't find pre*miere HD on my channel list, there is a lot of channel called pre*miere but none called prem*iere HD ...
For discovery is it the one on the Pre*miere package because it's not HD ????

Please give me mode info on this channel, no one are HD for me ...
